Play: The Golden Paddle Showdown

With pickleball’s meteoric rise in popularity, it was only fitting to bring it to MJBizCon. The Golden Paddle Showdown, hosted by WaxNax and Polar Gold Extracts, turned the Plaza Hotel rooftop into a vibrant arena of friendly competition and industry camaraderie.

Teams took to the courts to battle for bragging rights, while beginners jumped in with “Pickleball 101” lessons and spectators cheered from the sidelines. With networking zones, sponsor booths, giveaways, and live entertainment, the energy on the rooftop was electric. Most importantly, the event raised funds for the Last Prisoner Project, channeling the fun into a cause that matters.

It was more than a game; it was proof that shared activity can break down barriers, spark conversations, and bring people together in unexpected ways.

Party: Blaze of Glory

After a long day at the convention and on the courts, the community came alive at Blaze of Glory: Cannabis Brand Showdown. This first-of-its-kind showcase brought together Nevada’s top cannabis brands for a night of celebration, sampling, and connection.

The atmosphere buzzed with live sets from Box of Beats, audience voting, and brand activations that gave attendees a chance to discover the best of Nevada cannabis. The indoor-outdoor space created the perfect balance of networking and celebration, reminding us that business growth and community impact can go hand in hand.

Proceeds from Blaze of Glory went to the Cannabis Impact Fund and the Chamber of Cannabis Nevada, ensuring that every spark of creativity also fueled long-term industry progress.

Purify: Breathe & Heal Brunch

By the end of MJBizCon week, recharging was just as important as celebrating. The Breathe & Heal: Sound Healing Brunch invited attendees to slow down, reflect, and focus on well-being before heading home.

Through guided movement, breathwork, wellness talks, and a deeply restorative sound bath, the brunch created space for balance in the middle of a whirlwind week. Attendees shared mindful meals, meaningful conversations, and new perspectives on how wellness can fuel workplace culture and personal growth.

Profits again supported the Cannabis Impact Fund and the Chamber of Cannabis, proving that even moments of stillness can contribute to collective progress.

The momentum continues into 2025. Building on the success of last year’s series, Play. Party. Purify. All For A Purpose 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest and most purposeful edition yet.
